About

The Tulchan Shoot Syndicate comprises two syndicate shoot days; the Saturday syndicate and the Thursday syndicate.

Using the 500 acres of Tulchan Lodge’s estate the syndicate members have developed this shoot for drives to produce, pheasant, duck and partridge, with woodcock featuring frequently. The five ponds located across the estate allow for early season flighted ducks.

The shoot is based on a driven format although some walked up shooting tends to be available later in the season. A mixture of woodland types and undulating land offers a variety of drives and produces both high and fast pheasants.

The local beaters are highly experienced, working a number of the commercial shoots in the area, and the gamekeeper and shoot master ensure that the relevant care and work is put in throughout the year.

A new shoot bothy was built in 2017 providing a robust and cosy environment to share lunches.
