Work Day report from Alistair.
Hi Neil, We had a hard productive day. Weather was kind to us. There were nine of us altogether and we got going shortly after 9 am. We must have bagged up over half of the grain- having to climb into the hopper and shovel grain to the exit chute as the level went down. I reckon we must have bagged a good 3 tons laced with “pheasant puller” before distributing it across the feeders. We finally called it a day after 5 hours of non-stop graft at 2 pm. We saw plenty of birds, though they could do with some more flying practice! Best wishes, Alistair. Attendees were: Derek, Steve, David, Robert, Ken Smith, Ken Allan, Gordon and David Hitchin.
